As you may have noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a blog break. Story inspiration struck quite fiercely at the end of January, and I’ve been riding (and writing) that creative wave ever since! I happily have several book projects in the works, which I’ll talk more about another time. But for now, I just had to share this festively fun sewing project:
This adorable Bunny Quartet Mini Quilt by Center Street Quilts for Moda Bake Shop is a fast, easy spring sew. I made one last year as an Easter gift and couldn’t wait to make another this year—for me!
My first version was quite similar to the original, with multi-colored, polka-dotted bunnies against a white background. This time I switched it up with a floral background and some small, sweet prints for the bunnies.
While Easter was my inspiration for revisiting this project, I plan to keep the cheery runner on my kitchen table all spring. It’s like indoor sunshine, especially when those pesky nor’easters blow through!
